Arbitration

Our team members have experience in handling arbitral proceedings at LCIA, ICC, SCC, SCAI, ICAC (Moscow) and other international and domestic forums. Our lawyers have worked alongside many arbitrators and are usually able to provide insightful comments about their background and working styles. Our team members have also been involved in several proceedings where the awards were reviewed in state courts, both domestically in Russia, and abroad.

Members of our team have represented, among others, clients in the following arbitration proceedings:

  • Representing Renova Industries, one of the Alfa-Access-Renova consortium members, on strategic issues related to a shareholder dispute with BP connected with the announced Arctic deal-and-share swap
  • Representing one of the shareholders in OJSC MegaFon in developing and implementing a litigation strategy in relation to an imposed business combination affecting its shareholder rights and which potentially violates Russian regulations
