Rybalkin, Gortsunyan & Partners is shortlisted for The Lawyer European Awards 2020 as Law firm of the year: Russia and the CIS

The Lawyer magazine has revealed its shortlist for The Lawyer European Awards 2020, the most prestigious and coveted title celebrating the very best of the legal industry from across the continent. RGP is nominated to receive the main trophy as Law firm of the year: Russia and the CIS. Winners will be announced at The Lawyer European Awards on 1st December.

“This nomination alongside the most prominent law firms of the region reinforces our position as a leading market player and one of the most rapidly developing Russian practices. Despite the global pandemic, our team has almost trebled in size since the establishment of the firm. This year alone we have strengthened our dispute resolution offering through the addition of ten heavy-weight arbitration and litigation practitioners and launched a dedicated antitrust and competition practice responding to our clients’ growing demand. The firm is going from strength to strength and we remain optimistic going forward”, RGP’s managing partner Suren Gortsunyan commented.

The Lawyer European Awards was established in 2009 as a pan-European counterpart of the long-established The Lawyer’s award for UK law firms. Every year The Lawyer conducts a meticulous research of the European legal services market. A panel of judges comprising of managing partners at private practice firms and in-house counsel at multinational companies evaluates the nominees using a set of criteria including strategic vision, evidence of local market share, financial growth, consistent excellence in the key areas of practice and effective talent management.

The awards will take place online on the afternoon of Tuesday 1st December. Please visit the awards website to register.
